Love Knows No Language

When one thinks of the world, what comes up in your head first?

For me, it was diversity, and then my thoughts would trail off to all the differences that people in this world have. But lately, I think it's more accurate to think about all the commonality that people have. Love is a common language through all the cultures, it doesn't need translation, it doesn't need context, it is a force that takes a life of it's own and will reside with humans as long as we are alive. When tragedy strikes, no one cares about the differences that we have. Katrina, 9/11, losing a loved one. The love of people, and the instinct to save another human being triumphs all of our grudges and differences.

After all, people in this world have far more in common than we have in differences.

Take care of one another, and do a random act of kindness this week.
